Feminism and Original Sin (Part III)

This is the real first meaty post of this blog! Let the fire burn! I dedicate this to all of the Christian Feminists (a.k.a. Heretics) and Female preachers (a.k.a. Heretics) out there.

“There are two powers in the world; one is the sword and the other is the pen. There is a great competition and rivalry between the two. There is a third power stronger than both, that of the women.”
― Muhammad Ali Jinnah

When last we left off, we were dissecting Genesis 3:16-17 and getting into some points and conclusions from this passage. Here it is again in the ESV for reference:

“To the woman He said, ‘I will surely multiply your pain in childbearing;
in pain you shall bring forth children. Your desire shall be for your husband, and he shall rule over you.’ And to Adam He said, Because you have listened to the voice of your wife and have eaten of the tree of which I commanded you, “You shall not eat of it,” cursed is the ground because of you; in pain you shall eat of it all the days of your life'”

We have already given an admittedly shallow, but very prescient breakdown of most of this passage, and now we turn to two phrases in it as our final stop for analysis in this series (Trust me, these verses are VERY foundational to humanity, so they will be looked at more later). The phrases are (1) “…and he shall rule over you.” and (2) “cursed is the ground because of you; in pain you shall eat of it all the days of your life.” Today we will examine that infamous Feminist/leftist claim that men will naturally want to oppress women…and spoiler alert: There actually is some meat to this claim.

Before we go any further, I must note that I will be making some fairly meaty assumptions, one, that you have read the previous two posts, and the others concerning human sexuality. To get up to speed, THIS PAPER is an excellent primer. Now we can blaze on.

First, we must look at the phrase about Adam ruling over Eve. This is in reference to God’s cursing of Eve and her newly implanted desire for Adam’s role and authority in her dealings and relationship with him. It is also the second half which seals this curse up nicely. God, in pronouncing this judgment, has essentially foisted an eternal and fruitless struggle upon Eve: She (and all women thereafter) will now want to usurp her husband’s position, but she will ultimately never be fruitful or fulfilled in doing so.

It is here that I insert this social critique: For the last 50-60 years (the duration of the modern Feminist rebellion) or so, Adam has basically been trying to give Eve his authority, and she has had no qualms in trying to accept it…except that she has. Women have demanded many things that are the rightful domain of men (i.e. an edge in full-time employment, which is more necessary to men–more on that later– freedom from modesty and chastity, and more recently the ability to play warrior right along with men on the front lines of battle). Yet relative female happiness in this country  is declining. This is because the more Eve usurps Adam’s role, the more unfulfilled she finds herself, because in that curse God gave her, He implicitly stated that her rebellious desire will never come to pass, and is therefore not what should or will be fulfilled. The extent to which women rebel against their God-given roles while attempting to take on more masculine ones is the extent to which they rebel against God Himself, by Genesis definition. Their consciences, however seared, scream damnation upon them, even as they gain ever more “equality” with men. They march forward, yet wonder why they are ever more miserable and unfulfilled. This is why.

Also notice the overarching two themes of Eve’s curse: God cursed her in the area of childbearing, and in the area of her relationship with her man,  in that order. What is interesting is that this order is, in a very fundamental way, the order of the first two greatest traits unique to the female of the human race. Women are biologically the ones who have been, and will always be, the bearers of children. For much of human history, back when survival was our main concern, this dictated how the world ran. One of the main reasons why women fighting in the military is foolish is because until now, high infant mortality rates (another product of Eve’s curse) and the high need for nations’ populations to be replaced steadily dictated that women were FAR more needed in the homefront, bearing and raising the children. If a nation were to lose its women, the nation itself would be lost. A New Testament verse really underscores the importance of women bearing children:

“For Adam was formed first, then Eve; and Adam was not deceived, but the woman was deceived and became a transgressor. Yet she will be saved through childbearing—if they continue in faith and love and holiness, with self-control.” (1 Timothy 2:13-15 ESV)

The irony of even this verse is that in going on Google to look it up, when I typed in the search query, the first page had titles like “Can women really be saved through childbearing?” Satan is alive and well, dear Readers. To which I respond, YES. Childbearing is how all of the 7 BILLION folks on this planet got here. Childbearing is unquestionably women’s biggest contribution to humanity throughout all of human history. Without your mother popping you out, you would never have existed! A direct consequence of many modern Western women delaying and forgoing childbearing in favor of careers (which are overall remarkably similar to what a wife and mother would be doing anyway), higher education, and extended bouts of hedonism is the fact that all Western nations have below-replacement rate, and falling, childbirth rates. This explains a good chunk of why there is a massive immigration of people from other countries to the West: We need young people, and our women aren’t interested in having them, whereas the more impoverished “Third World” women have no qualms in carrying out their roles as childbearers. In the end, all else being equal, “Third World” women will be the cause of the reshaping or fall of the West (See also: Germany under Merkel).

As for relationships, well…I doubt I need to cite anything to state that women are MUCH more hard- and softwired to be relationally oriented than men. Probably the most notorious thing about women, their skill and love of speech (My Lord do they love to talk…) relative to men, is the primary tool in which humans communicate, a.k.a. relate, to one another. Even womens’ brains are built for relational connectivity. So, for God to hit Eve in the area of relationships, especially with Adam, well, that was a Haitian earthquake for her (and all women thereafter).

Now we must go on to the one area God cursed Adam in: work (I know this is a long post, but bear with me!). It is no secret that men are the net economic producers of the world. It should not be very hard to understand why God cursed Adam in the sphere of work. Many people mistakenly read from this passage that work is itself a curse (Can we throw Mondays in there too?). Not true. God commanded Adam to work the garden of Eden before Eve was even made (See Genesis 2). One of my favorite pastors, the revered Dr. Tony Evans, is fond of noting that before God gave Adam a woman, He first gave him a Job (name the stuff I created). From this I will make a major premise:

Work is far more necessary for men than for women.

Cry about this all you want to, but the strongest and most famous invective the Bible gives about work is to MEN: “Now we command you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you keep away from any brother who is walking in idleness and not in accord with the tradition that you received from us. For you yourselves know how you ought to imitate us, because we were not idle when we were with you, nor did we eat anyone’s bread without paying for it, but with toil and labor we worked night and day, that we might not be a burden to any of you. It was not because we do not have that right, but to give you in ourselves an example to imitate. 10 For even when we were with you, we would give you this command: If anyone is not willing to work, let him not eat.” (II Thessalonians 3:6-10)

I will not go into the Greek of this, but simply put, I give three reasons why this command is for men above women: One, after the “anyone”, the pronoun used is “he”. Two, in verse 6, the word used twice is “brother(s)”. This is talking about men who are not working and are leeching off of the Thessalonian church. Third, if you look at ancient history, men worked, and women stayed home. Of course there were female leaders (i.e. Deborah, Cleopatra, Candace of Egypt) and businesswomen (i.e. Lydia) in ancient times too, but they were exceptions to the rule. Back then this was how tribes, cultures, and nations made sure they survived. You can see the remnants of this even now; I am a country boy myself, and I can tell you: Country gals are much better at being wives and mothers than city women, and them oh-so-backwards country Ole’ Boys know all about workin’! When you gotta survive and tame the rough Earth, your men and women start playing their roles real quick! Our current PC/Feminist quagmire is an anomaly relative to world history, not the norm.

Of note here is that women are also commanded to work. In fact, home life back in the day was much harder than it is now. Cooking, cleaning, and all that jazz? Well, it was much more time and labor intensive than now. They didn’t have electricity, ovens. microwaves, washers, dryers, AC, dishwashers, vacuum cleaners, marble and wood flooring, or granite countertops for most of mankind’s history. Cooking? You had to skin, clean, soak, and cure things, not just mix up stuff in pots and pans. Even during the Great Depression in America, hunting, fishing, and growing crops was how my forbears did it, and my female forbears were strong for real. Women had to be strong back then. Even childbearing was harder. No stirrups, anesthesia, OBGYNs, or sterile blue gloves were around back then. They used midwives for most of man’s history. Many women still do. Women worked hard too, but they used different names for it. The most recent one we all would know is: Homemaking. There is great dignity and necessity in women’s work, and there always has been, but work, as that word is defined at its core, applies much more greatly to men.

So work is far more essential to men. For social reasons, men still must work much longer and harder than women. Here is the second premise:

Women have their sexuality to fall back on. Men have nothing but their labor.

Men want sex more than women. The male sex drive is vastly more powerful and intense than that of the female. In economics, when one country wants something another country has more than the other country wants the same product which the first country has, we call this a trade imbalance. The country with the greatest supply of some good/service can demand higher prices from the country with the greatest demand of said good/service, because the country with the greatest demand WANTS IT MORE. Men want sex from women FAR and away more than women want it from men. This is why (actual) rape is the second worst crime to murder, and why until recently (and still in many countries) the only definition of rape was male on female. Women’s sexuality, ESPECIALLY when they are young and fertile, is very valuable, because men will do crazy things to get it. I personally know men who have driven 11 hours straight, abused drugs, contemplated suicide, and made utter fools of themselves, all in the successful or unsuccessful pursuit of females. Female sexuality is worth more than gold to millions and billions of men worldwide.

So how and what do men use to get the oh-so-coveted warmth of a pretty young woman? Why, the gold, of course! For millenia the man’s domain has been the outside world. The reason why is because men must produce value to get women to get with them. The sexier the woman, the more value must be produced. Some modern outcomes of what happens when a woman deems herself too high-value for the man who is pursuing her are rejection, friendzoning, sexual harassment cases, restraining orders, and false rape accusations (FRAs) to name a few. All are very punishing to men, but men will push on. Because females are just that fine (even when they’re not…).

This is why “workplace equality” is BS. This is why the welfare state is evil. This is why, despite constant feminization and mechanization, despite “The Pill”, abortion, increased female levels of education, and even feminist laws, men will ALWAYS outearn women on the economic whole. Quite simply, we must. If a man loses his superior production value relative to women, he loses his biggest tool for getting their sexuality, and then he must find other, more backhanded, and often more nefarious, ways of doing so. Because all men are always competing, on the whole, for all women, to satiate their sexual thirst, this will never change. One thing I do know is: Never bet against biology; you’ll lose every time.

All that long preamble was needed to set up this final conclusion: Men, to a certain degree, must always restrain women. “And he SHALL rule over you.” If left unchecked, female sexuality will drive men to the depths of violence and insanity. This is because as Eve takes  Adam’s authority, she will usurp his role as Provider. Once his ability to provide for her is insufficient, she becomes an “Independent woman”. That is what they mean when they say that, women do. They mean they do not need male provisioning to survive. There exists today one particular group of women who bear this out: African-American women. “I Am a Strong Independent Black Woman, and I Don’t Need No Man!” That is their cry. Yet they are the least married and most fornicated-with women in all of the nation, and maybe even the world. Why? Because Eve who doesn’t need Adam will not have him.

Yet even with their roles deprived of them, men will still compete for women. Again, Black America’s chaotic family (really lack thereof) structures bear this out. Independent women drive a wedge between them and the men who want them, by Genesis definition. They have taken on a role which God never meant for them to have. They are proud, yet deep inside, they are sad and confused, and miserable. When you get time, look up the rates at which modern Western women are on antidepressants. Scary stuff. This friction between men and women also creates a very real subsequent shame in the men. Adam has given up his birthright, and he knows it, and he is ashamed. However, he is also very, very angry. Why do Afro-American men commit crimes and kill at the rates they do? Because they are angry and displaced by the welfare state. They cannot provide for their women like they should be able to, their women have rejected them and will not respect them, and they are acting out their ire with fists, blades, bats, and bullets. When Adam lets Eve usurp his role, everyone loses.

So because God made Adam first, and instructed him and him alone, it falls squarely on his shoulders, in terms of delineated authority, to teach Eve, love her, and correct her when she is wrong. The bad news is that this is hell sometimes (try correcting a Black woman as a man…you had better be ALPHA as all hell if you want to deal with her…). The good news is that doing so is following what God has told man to do, and what Christ has enabled Saved man to do, and in so doing what is right, the Holy Spirit will aid any man who tries. For a real story of how this can happen, look up Dr. Tony Evans’ bio and his story of how his parents came to Christ.

Marriage is God’s gift to humanity. It is why civilizations begin, and it is why they end if they corrupt it (like we are doing). It is also the primary expression of the restriction of female sexuality. Cultural restrictions of female sexuality stem from it. For example, in Judaic tradition, it was highly scandalous for a woman to let down her hair in the presence of men. We all know why: Even today, I can tell you that seeing this done gets a rise out of many young men…and men have been that way since Adam. Look at Islam. For all the hate it gets, it does get one thing right: It regulates female sexuality (to violent extremes yes, but it DOES regulate it), and in doing so, it ensures that Islamic culture will continue on, as Islamic women have no problem with childbirth, modesty, or chastity on the whole, and even if this is because they are oppressed. That oppression has produced a sort of order in Islamic society. Contrast that with the chaos that is the American Black inner city.

There is a balance. Men really do oppress women. Sex trafficking is overhyped, but it does still exist. Men DO prey on gullible women (i.e. Black pastors who use the pulpit sleep with their female congregants). This is because Adam shall rule over Eve. That was a curse due to Original Sin. We are all fallen (Romans 3:23). There will always be a visceral temptation for men to overdo it on the restriction of women’s sexuality. But regardless, it must be restricted to avert societal chaos and ensure order and continuity. Our modern American culture fails to understand that its current affair with female rebellion can only go so far. If we keep going like we have been, we will face one of two possibilities: Either men will be pushed so hard into a corner that their resultant anger and desperation will force them out of passivity and into confrontation with, and limitation of, women and their sexuality, or another group of foreign men will step in and correct the imbalance. By the looks of it, those foreign men will be rocking turbans.

In closing, the takeaway for Christians are for Adam and for Eve: Eve must first take a long hard look at what the Bible says about being a woman versus what the feminist culture says. Is “Thou shalt not start a family before starting a career” the 11th commandment? Is chastity a virtue? Is premarital sex right or wrong? Are women really supposed to aim for being “Strong and Independent ™?” She must then be willing to actually do what the Bible says, even if that does mean submitting to a man and not to the State. As for Adam, he must stop being passive. Women will always follow men, no matter how many MGTOWs don’t like it, no matter how we try to replace them with porn, toys, or dolls, and no matter how scary their backing by the force of the State becomes. They will not rest until they have emasculated all of us, or until we retake our roles from them. However, when we do fight back, we must not overly repress them back into the stone age:

25 Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her, 26 that he might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word, 27 so that he might present the church to himself in splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing, that she might be holy and without blemish.[a] 28 In the same way husbands should love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. 29 For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as Christ does the church, 30 because we are members of his body.” (Ephesians 5:25-30).

Likewise, husbands, live with your wives in an understanding way, showing honor to the woman as the weaker vessel, since they are heirs with you[a] of the grace of life, so that your prayers may not be hindered.” (1 Peter 3:7).

Listen brother, I feel your pain. I suffer too. We all do. These feminists, SJWs, and modern women have given me Hell for years, and I know they are crazy. They have disrespected me, spat in my face, and kicked me when I was down. I too questioned if life was even worth living; the women of my ethnic culture have almost universally rejected me. But put the gun, the rope, the coke, the controller, and the knives all down. You’re better than that. Your society may may never respect you, but God will give you a purpose if you follow Him. I know you want to lash out, and I struggle myself with not just straight up attacking women viciously in my own anger. We have been hard done by these last 50-60 years.

You know something, though? We did that too. We all did. His name was Jesus. We rebelled against Him. We spat in His face. We stripped him, mocked him, and ultimately crucified Him on an ugly, wooden Cross. Our sins put him up there. He didn’t have to go; He made us all. But He went. Why? Because He has loved us, loves us, and will always love us, even if we don’t love Him or ourselves. He bore our sins in His body on that Tree, so that we might be purified from the very sin that has caused all of the mess I blog about.

So I know many of us want to show these modern women what the word “oppression” really means…but we must not. They’re insane, but we must learn to live with them in an understanding way. because they are the more fragile sex, Grrl Power and all. We must resist that urge, because God could have done that and much more to all of us, but He didn’t, because He loves us. And we must somehow, some way, figure out how to love them.

Marinatha, but onward we march.
